The Radiology Technologist supports the clinical staff in the delivery of patient care by assisting with patient preparation, providing information to diagnose patient illnesses by operating radiologic equipment to produce radiographs and facilitate PAC access so that Radiologist or other licensed practitioners may read films. The Radiology Technologist performs radiographic procedures within Urgent Specialists in accordance with legal and regulatory requirements. The Radiology Technologist also supports the daily operations of rooming patients, admitting patients to the facility and notifying patients of radiology results for a multitude of exams. The Radiology Technologist is accountable for preparing and maintaining radiology supplies and equipment according to established policies and procedures, and reports to the Director of Operations. Between x-rays employee will be responsible for the front desk position including; Patient check-in/check-out, answering phones, taking payments, reviewing patient insurance information and collecting copay/deducible, etc. (see job description for further details). Employee will also be cross trained to room patients, enter vitals, etc.
